Through the Adopt-a-Key campaign, donors can support the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research's Collection Maintenance & Restoration Fund, helping provide for the ongoing care, preservation, and restoration of the Center's remarkable collection of historic instruments.
As part of the campaign, donors who make a gift of $1,000 or more will be eligible to receive naming rights to a single key on the Marimba Celeste, one of the Center's featured historic instruments. Gifted to Kutztown University by the Miller Family, this groundbreaking instrument is an innovative combination of marimba and vibraphone that transformed the possibilities of mallet percussion and stands as a testament to Musser's vision and ingenuity.
By supporting the Collection Maintenance & Restoration Fund, donors help ensure that the Center's collection can continue to serve as a valuable resource for students, scholars, visiting artists, and the broader percussion community for generations to come.
