How you can support the Career Development: Career Closet

The Career Closet is a service the Kutztown University Career Center offers students to obtain professional clothing in order to be prepared for career fairs, interviews, and their professional career.  The Closet was created in 2019 in response to a recognized need for greater student support.  For donations, the office reaches out to KU employees, alumni, and community members to donate gently-used and new professional clothing.  While the Career Center has been fortunate to receive many clothing donations, the Career Closet inventory has drastically dwindled with increasing student awareness and demand.  Monetary donations are needed to be able to purchase additional professional clothing for students to present themselves professionally and make a positive impression.

The Career Center staff is very excited to see KU students engaging in their career readiness and professional preparation and is therefore seeking additional financial support to maintain this wonderful student service for many years to come.
