Gifts to College of Education contribute to...
How can you help the College of Education?
Here are COE's five areas of emphasis so you can have a sense of our priorities:
- Strengthening our student experience to ensure academic and professional success,
- Inspiring and supporting faculty to drive innovation and change to advance education here and beyond,
- Cultivating a professional community where everyone – students, faculty, and staff – feel that they belong,
- Working with school, community, and industry partnership to build and renew successful partnerships that make a collective impact for those we serve, and
- Securing resources for sustainability that secures high-quality education at KU for generations to come.
Your contribution increases our ability to provide a top-notch education by supporting one of the following priorities:
Our general COE fund – used for strengthening school-university-community partnerships to drive innovation in education including activities such as partnership think tank sessions, events that bring stakeholders together, conference travel to showcase the collaborative work, and books and other resources to support practitioner research, and more!
Other funds specific to COE – used to enrich and develop COE students and provide professional development to current educators, such as the:
- Elementary Education Departmental Fund
- Secondary Education Departmental Fund
- Children’s Literature Conference
- English Language Learners (ELL) program
- Children’s Literature Conference
- Education Doctorate program
- Special Education
