Gifts to Biological Sciences: Allied Health and Pre-Medical Programs contribute to...
Dear Friends and Supporters,
The Department of Biological Sciences at Kutztown University is training the next generation of career-ready medical professionals through the Allied Health, Pre-Medical and Other Health Careers, and Biomedical Technology programs. These programs are harnessing new technologies to provide excellent training and hands-on experiences to all students in the health and medical fields at Kutztown University.
With your help, we hope to add to our career-development toolkit through the purchasing of a new state-of-the-art Anatomage 3D digital cadaver table to enhance our anatomy and physiology instruction at Kutztown University. This seven-foot-long interactive table contains five fully rendered digitized real human cadavers, with 3D interactive anatomy, physiology simulations, histology, and hundreds of simulated medical conditions based on real medical case studies. Further, we would like to remodel a dedicated room on campus for the Anatomage table to reside that will resemble a clinical theater to create a more fully immersive setting for users.
The Anatomage table is not just for students in the biological/health sciences. The Psychology Department at Kutztown University is equally invested in using this remarkable table in their courses. Additionally, non-major student will also use the table in course like Human Biology and Introduction to Biology for non-majors. Tours of prospective students and school groups will have the chance to see and use the table. Opportunities abound for other Departments and Colleges to take advantage of this resource.
All funds raised during this campaign will support the purchase and installation of one Anatomage table at Kutztown University.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to build a stronger medical workforce here at Kutztown University!
