Mathematics

The Kutztown University Department of Mathematics is dedicated to fostering enthusiasm for mathematics through community outreach and student support. As an active center for engagement, the department hosts events and activities that bring together the KU and its wider community to explore problem-solving, teamwork, and the excitement of discovery. Funds raised will enhance opportunities that strengthen connections between KU and the wider community.

At the same time, the department is committed to celebrating and supporting its students. Contributions will help recognize mathematics majors for their academic achievements and accomplishments—ranging from undergraduate research and speaking at conferences, to leadership in student teaching, success in professional exams, and acceptance into graduate school. By reinforcing the value of these experiences, we not only honor current students’ hard work but also inspire future Golden Bears to pursue excellence in mathematics and beyond.
