The Department of Social Work at Kutztown University recognizes the economic inequity that our students face. Many baccalaureate and graduate students must make the choice between food, gas, educational materials, and resources. Our program is dedicated to providing students with the support they need to succeed academically and professionally.

However, we can’t do it without your help!

The Department established the Textbook Lending Library in January 2021 to provide students with social work textbooks necessary to achieve their educational goals. Undergraduate social work majors are estimated to save $950.00 during their undergraduate career from the support of the Textbook Lending Library.

Last year the Textbook Lending Library supported 135 students with 450 books.
In a continuous effort to support the profession of social work, we are raising funds to provide licensure preparation materials for MSW students.

How far does your donation go?
To support our BSW students:
$25 = Half a textbook
$50 = One textbook
$250 = One semester of textbooks for one student
To support licensure prep for MSW students:
$50 = Half of the licensure prep materials for one student
$100 = Licensure prep materials for one student
$500 = Licensure prep materials for five students
