Gifts to Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research contribute to...

The Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research is leading an important initiative to design and place a headstone for Clair Omar Musser (1901–1998) at his family’s gravesite in the Erisman Mennonite Cemetery in Manheim, PA.
Musser was a marimba virtuoso, conductor, composer, teacher, and instrument designer whose influence shaped generations of percussionists worldwide. Despite his profound impact, his final resting place remains unmarked. By supporting this project, you will help ensure that Musser’s legacy is recognized with the dignity it deserves and that his contributions to the mallet percussion heritage of Berks County and beyond are preserved for future generations.
Your gift will create a lasting tribute to one of our field’s most visionary figures.
