National Art Education Association (NAEA)

The National Art Education Association (NAEA) Student Chapter at Kutztown University is dedicated to preparing future art educators through professional development, teaching experiences, and community involvement. We provide opportunities that strengthen essential skills such as lesson planning, critical thinking, and classroom engagement. Through events like Friday Night Out and community outreach, members gain practical experience that prepares them to serve diverse student populations.

We are seeking funding to support student attendance at the Pennsylvania Art Education Association (PAEA) Conference and the National Art Education Association (NAEA) Conference. These events offer workshops, resources, and networking opportunities with leaders in art education, focusing on current standards, diversity, creative instruction, and arts advocacy.

Your support will reduce financial barriers for aspiring teachers by helping cover registration fees, travel, and lodging expenses. Conference participation equips our members with the skills and confidence to become effective educators who inspire creativity and foster inclusive classrooms.
