Your gift to the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research supports KU’s one-of-a-kind facility built for research, performance, archival, and exhibition of mallet percussion instruments! This building hosts worldwide talent and performances offering students and the greater KU community extraordinarily unique experiences.
In addition, when you make your gift in honor of Frank Kumor, it directly impacts the Frank Kumor Teaching Studio. Dr. Kumor provides private mallet percussion lessons to students at KU and hosts a study abroad trip every spring with select students from the percussion program.
A gift to the Center for the Mallet Percussion Research Department Fund helps to raise funds to support our ongoing programming, collections preservation, and community outreach. We also have made steady progress on the robust collection of artifacts, print media, and memorabilia.
With your help, we can continue growing and improving our efforts to reach a global community through percussion performance and research.
