The Kutztown University Softball Program had an impressive 2025 season as the Golden Bears finished with 43 victories, captured the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship before falling in the Super Regional to Shippensburg.

The Golden Bears, led by head coach Judy Lawes who is in her 39th season has recorded over 1,000 career wins and led the Kutztown to 23 NCAA DII National Softball Championship appearances. The softball team is impressive in the classroom as well, recording over a 3.4 cumulative team grade point average in the spring of 2025.
